40 years go today science history was made.

40 years ago Man stepped on the Moon. 

The desire I have is to go back and go further to Mars.  Why?  Simply look at all the technology we have now, microcomputers and all the fixings in them (seminconductors etc), satellites, telecommunications, even velcro all from the need to be lighter, faster and better to get to the Moon.  We as a nation need that drive again, we as a nation need that boost of science to put us on top of the heap again and not to be known as simply the new imperialistic millitary superpower.
