Very cool

Dig this digital effect demo and awesome futurescape by Neil Blomkamp. It's a faux newspiece/corporate advertisement about a company called Tetra Vaal making a robotic soilder replacement. Very cool and for the record predates District 9.

Complete

Both work spaces are done, new chair assembled, router setup and secured (a sweet deal on a N-wireless with gigabit switch) a file cab and his and hers blue and pink chair mats. I even did some wire management today with some awesome velcro ties.

Why is this job not filled yet?

I've seen this add posted several times and every time proofreading has not been done. I circled it for you in case you don't feel like reading all of it.

Good luck folks, because these are the people who have jobs.

Office Upgrade

As a reward for busting some major ass and getting the new sweet gig as the "Technical Training Coordinator" I re-did my office.

This tiny, leg cramping, workspaceless cluttered, plain white mess is no more.

There was cleaning late Friday. That little desk was actually heavy as hell and the clutter took forever to clean.

We got up way early on Saturday.

I worked the roller.

Hot Mamba did the trim.

DONE!
Re-Organized and Re-Built...We have the technology.

And yes that is a desk that is a giant 10 ft wide 4.5 foot deep desk made from 6 large and heavy pieces of tempered glass that spans from one corner of the room to the other.

It's beautiful. I and getting another chairmat and chair for by the couch so I can have a work space for my company laptop. I'm also going to partially wire/wireless the place so I can have a small machine downstairs to use our main TV as a monitor and have wireless going so Hot Mamba can surf the internet at her leisure with her new netbook I'm planning on getting her soon. I'm going to make/procure some sort of NAS to use as a file dump. If I'm going to go that far I'm going to build something in the >4 TB range and depending on the drive speeds/prices RAID it in either RAID 1, 5 or 6.

I love my office.
